Red Cabbage with Apples and Honey


I love cabbage. But for some reason, I don't eat it that much. While reading the Serious Eats newsletter today, I came across this amazing recipe for red cabbage with apples & honey. I was making Italian beef sandwiches for dinner, so it was a great side to make. Super easy and delicious. It braised in the oven for a couple of hours and makes your houses smell amazing (the bacon in there probably helps). Yummy!
